We are pleased to inform you that BINA is sponsoring a two-day intensive training seminar for mental health and rehabilitation professionals, Brain Injury Family Intervention (BIFI): An Evidence Based Approach - Practical Approaches to Effective Intervention after Brain Injury. The seminar provides a valuable opportunity to learn from leading professionals in the field. Presenters will be Drs. Jeffrey Kreutzer and Emilie Godwin of the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Medical Center, leading experts on traumatic brain injury, family adjustment, and family therapy. The event will take place on September 12-13, 2011 at the JCC of Staten Island located at 1466 Manor Ave., convenient to Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey. The $200 registration fee includes two full days of sessions, breakfast and lunch, and a complete BIFI intervention kit (worth over $200). Psychology CEUs, authorized by the state of Virginia, will be granted.
