Description:
Mr. Walfish uses Structural Therapy to achieve positive results in a relatively short time frame. This highly practical therapeutic approach focuses on the client’s issues in the context of their social interactions – colleagues, roommates, dating partners, or spouses. The goal result is to resolve the concrete “here and now” issues, as opposed to painstakingly dissecting the client’s life history. In most cases, redressing the cycle of functional and relationship problems can be accomplished within only 15 sessions.

Specialties:In addition to being Program Coordinator at Saint Mary’s, Mr. Walfish runs a training for professionals in Structural Family therapy where attendees bring video tapes of their work and are trained as well as supervised.
