Mr. Walfish uses Structural Therapy to achieve positive results in a relatively short time frame. This highly practical therapeutic approach focuses on the clientâs issues in the context of their social interactions â colleagues, roommates, dating partners, or spouses. The goal result is to resolve the concrete âhere and nowâ issues, as opposed to painstakingly dissecting the clientâs life history. In most cases, redressing the cycle of functional and relationship problems can be accomplished within only 15 sessions.
Specialties:In addition to being Program Coordinator at Saint Maryâs, Mr. Walfish runs a training for professionals in Structural Family therapy where attendees bring video tapes of their work and are trained as well as supervised.
