My vision is to use state-of-the-art therapeutic methods known as play therapy to facilitate children's social-emotional growth and to strengthen relationships between parents and children by helping children 'learn to play and play to learn'.
My mission is to use evidence-based developmentally-appropriate therapeutic powers of play to help children use play as their language and toys as their words to express themselves, learn, blossom and flourish. And to empower parents and caregivers with strategies to improve family relationships and enhance therapeutic progress.
I value: Respect - acknowledging the intrinsic worth of each individual. Confidentiality - safeguarding information is critical. Openness - a well-informed parent or caregiver is essential to lasting progress. Commitment - to never give up on a child. Consistency - to always provide continuity in therapy. Integrity - i am commiteed to honesty and doing the right thing even when no one is looking. Recognizing human potentiall - realizing the potential of each child in order to create the best future for them. Ethics - I adhere to the ethical standards of the National Association of Social Workers and the Association for Play Therapy.
