Review of policy decisions starting in 1970 and then continuing through the Reagan and Clinton administrations. 10 minutes

The Drug Trade: a local and global enterprise: 5 minutes

Impact on communities, especially communities of color: 5 minutes

Role of big pharma on state legislatures: 5 minutes

Role of others in compounding the problem: state medical boards, Joint Commission (JCAHO), Press-Ganey: 10 minutes

New policy directions to be considered: 10 minutes

Balance of time for Q&A and discussion
