About
While navigating through daily life, people can find themselves facing issues that can feel insurmountable, leaving them feeling as though they are overwhelmed, hopeless, and alone. By creating a safe and non-judgmental environment, I can help you to explore these issues in order to help facilitate finding a solution.
I work with adolescents, college students, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, Eating Disorders, PTSD, and Personality Disorders. I have experience working with body image, self-injurious behaviors, self-esteem, peer pressure, relationship difficulties, and childhood trauma. I have a particular interest in working with people who have not yet discovered their lifeâs goals.
I believe that for most people, present actions are a repetition of early childhood experiences. Therefore, I primarily utilize a psychodynamic approach in order to explore these experiences and connect them to the present. I draw from other modalities in order to provide the best services for a personâs individual needs. The most important component to any successful therapy is a strong therapeutic relationship, which I provide with both empathy and respect.
