Chaya Tauber

Chaya Tauber, LCSW maintains a private practice and is employed as a Mental Health Consultant for Head Start.  She provides individual treatment using an eclectic approach including pyschodynamic, behavioral, and mind-body techniques.  She provides guidance to parents and school staff regarding the social and behavioral development of children. Mrs. Tauber worked as a psychotherapist at Pesach Tikvah, an outpatient mental health clinic, treating adults and children with anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. She received postgraduate training in the treatment of adolescents at the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health, a psychoanalytic institute. Chaya completed couples therapy training at the Gottman Institute and trauma training by Bessel van der Kolk.  She specializes in the treatment of adults, families, and children and is bilingual Yiddish speaking.
