I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and Certified EMDR Clinician with Advanced Certification in Dissociative Disorders and Parts Work. I provide a combination of insight-oriented and tool-based psychotherapies in a safe, compassionate and private environment. I treat most presenting problems, but have specialized training and almost 15 years experience working with  adults with childhood trauma and personality disorders. My approach is both culturally-sensitive and educational, allowing a client to achieve clarity on past patterns and hurts that may be hampering healthy connections in their current life. Clients are empowered with a wide variety of tools from CBT, DBT and the 12-Steps to alter old patterns of thinking, feeling, perceiving and interacting. I will work closely with your psychiatrist, Rabbi, Rebbitzin, kalla teacher, dayan or askan for a well-rounded collaborative approach to your healing. EMDR and Group DBT available. In addition, I train and mentor young clinicians and enjoy lecturing and publishing articles on a variety of psychotherapy subjects.
